Beef Croquettes

Recipe Ingredients

First of all, check if you have all the necessary ingredients for this recipe. Pay attention to the quantities!
  • Half Kg Mince Beef
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Potato
  • 1 Carrot
  • Half a Capsicum
  • 5-6 Cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Egg
  • Half inch Ginger
  • 2 Green Chilie
  • Coriander Leaves
  • 1 Tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • lime or Vinegar
  • Rawa

Next, follow the steps to finalize your dish and finally be able to enjoy it!
  1. Pre cook the mince in the cooker, just a whistle will do as we just need it semi done.

  2. add some salt

  3. Add a little water to the pressure cooker, not too much just enough to get a whistle and not burn

  4. Once thats done, open up the pressure cooker and add the diced vegetables to it

  5. Once your vegetables are added then add the garam masala

  6. masala powder we added the spices separately

  7. Some haldi powder,

  8. Then pepper, cinnamon, cloves and jeera.

  9. Once your garam masala is added to the dish then close the pressure cooker and keep it on for 15 minutes on a slow fire

  10. open the cooker again and check for water in it. If there’s a lot of water in it left, like we had, then keep it on the fire till most of it evaporates.

  11. add the lime juice, or vinegar

  12. Throw in the chopped coriander leaves

  13. Then break the two bread slices up and add them to the mince, bread is the binding agent.

  14. Once your breads in, its time to put the croquette mixture into the blender.

  15. When it forms a paste, your croquette mixture is just about ready

  16. Add an Egg to the mixture and mix it up well

  17. Then heat some oil in a pan and while that’s getting done its time to make the croquettes

  18. rolling the croquettes in Rawa

  19. take a ball elongate it and roll it in the breadcrumb or rawa, till each croquette is coated evenly.

  20. Make enough croquettes that your pan can handle, and include space that you need to turn them about

  21. Take a small ball, roll it on the board to make it elongated

  22. Then roll it on the crumbs, also flatten both the ends.

  23. Once you have enough croquettes for frying in the first lot put them on the pan

  24. Slow fire is the best to get the croquettes nicely done on all sides.

  25. Turn them once in a while to make sure its getting cooked evenly all around

  26. Once their nicely done on all sides your Beef Croquettes are ready to eaT
